What this app collects

This app asks for no name, email address or phone number. There is no account. The first time this app runs it asks the service for an anonymous install id, keeps that id on your phone and files every server record under it. Each launch also sends that id with your phone's platform, app version, language and region, and time zone, and the app reports anonymous usage events such as a scan finishing or a meal being logged — never the menu itself.

When you scan a menu, the app sends up to 4 compressed photos of the menu, your medication class, how long you've been on it, appetite level, protein target, dietary restrictions and whether you asked for simpler options, so that the answer is written for you rather than for an average person.

Your weight and your height are never sent anywhere and are never stored. They are used on your phone, once, to work out a protein target, and only the target is kept.

Why it is collected

The profile is what makes an answer specific: without it the app could only tell you which dish has the most protein, not which one suits you.

The record of each scan is what lets us see whether the app is working — how often an answer comes back, how long it takes, how often it fails, and what it costs to run.

How long it is kept

This app keeps a record of each scan — your profile at that moment, the result and timing — on its own servers for 90 days to run and improve the service. Menu photos are not kept.

Aggregate counts with nothing personal in them — how many scans happened on a day, how many succeeded — are kept beyond that window so that the shape of past months survives.

How to have it removed

You can delete everything this app holds about this install at any time from Settings.

Removal takes effect immediately and covers every server record filed under your install id. Your phone then starts again with a new install id.

Who else sees it

Google Gemini reads the menu photos and the profile for one request, as the AI provider that produces the answer.

Railway hosts the service and the database it writes to.

Cloudflare sits in front of the private admin pages, which only the owner of this app can open.

Nothing is sold, and nothing is handed to an advertising network.
